An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Program Manager and Technical Advisor focused on water and wastewater projects and programs across Texas and the central region. This role provides a strategic business opportunity to help grow market share by delivering world-class water & wastewater infrastructure planning and design services for large projects and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead major projects or programs from planning through construction, presenting updates to clients and supporting decision-making.
- Provide oversight of program schedule and budget using internal processes, and manage large inter-discipline teams.
- Lead a team providing technical solutions for water supply/treatment/distribution, wastewater collection/treatment, biosolids management, recycled water, water quality regulations, and utility infrastructure systems.
- Provide recommendations on client processes, organization, and readiness for major programs and alternative project delivery.
- Support risk-based assessments for capital improvement programs.
- Provide project execution, quality control, and technical leadership for large water and wastewater projects.
- Lead and provide technical expertise for marketing and business development.
- Support pursuit, proposal, and project interview activities.
- Develop relationships with clients and decision-makers in Texas.
- Mentor professionals and support team growth through recruitment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.
- 20+ years of relevant water engineering experience (planning, design, construction).
- Experience managing large water and wastewater programs and projects.
- Knowledge of water and wastewater conveyance and treatment regulations.
- Proficiency in technical and thought leadership for water and wastewater infrastructure systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in client-facing roles.
- Experience overseeing technical tasks and project teams.
- Proficiency in report writing and PowerPoint presentations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, team and independent work.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and client meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background, drug screen, etc.).
