The selected candidate will provide expertise in Foreign Military Sales (FMS), security assistance policies, export controls, and technology transfer while engaging in policy development and technical writing. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and support international affairs and national security policy initiatives. Provide subject matter expertise on Army Foreign Military Sales (FMS) processes and compliance requirements. Research and develop policies related to security assistance, export controls, and technology transfer. Conduct intensive research that results in high-quality technical writing and policy documentation. Ensure adherence to security assistance policies, laws, and export control regulations. Work with stakeholders, including government agencies and international partners, to facilitate security cooperation initiatives. Maintain databases, perform data analysis, and support decision-making processes. Prepare briefings, reports, and presentations for senior leadership and government officials. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required. However, this requirement may be waived if the candidate possesses at least ten (10) years of applied security assistance experience while serving as a uniformed member of the armed forces or as a U.S. government employee. Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of experience in international affairs and/or national security policy. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Army FMS, security assistance policies, export controls, and technology transfer laws. Policy Development: Proven ability to research, write, and develop policies. Technical Writing: Experience in creating well-researched and precise technical documentation. Clearance: Secret required. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience supporting government contracts within the defense sector. Familiarity with U.S. security cooperation policies and procedures. Experience working with DoD agencies, Army programs, or international security cooperation initiatives.
