Overview Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St. Louis Children's Hospital.
Missouri Baptist is the first and only hospital in St. Louis County to be named a Magnet hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The prestigious designation is the highest credential a health care organization can receive for nursing excellence and quality patient care. The Clinical Nursing Institute provides a variety of ongoing skill training, continuing education choices and professional development options for clinical and non-clinical staff from MBMC, BJC HealthCare and the community.
Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose
Assists leads and managers of performance improvement projects in order to accomplish measureable business process improvements. Employs performance improvement/transformation methodology, tools and techniques in organization operations in order to accomplish business objectives while ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
Responsibilities
Manages and provides consultation and support to system-wide improvement teams, functions and departments related to transformation and performance improvement initiatives.Directs and manages hospital and system-wide evidence based education and practice programs that support key objectives.Utilizes available data to promote professional clinical practice and positive patient outcomes.Contributes to knowledge and skill building in education, practice and process improvement.Provides consultation and support to the Practice Consultant Specialist. Minimum Requirements
Education
Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
Master's Degree - Nursing/Healthcare related
Experience
5-10 years Supervisor Experience
