Position Title: Sr Product Manager - Digital Experience
Location: Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ (In-Office, Full-Time)
Reports To: VP of Data Analytics and App Development
Engagement: 6-8 Month Contract (Hourly)
Start Date: Targeting Late June/early July 2025 Interviews late May - June
Core Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM MST
Travel: Minimal (as needed)
About the Project
We're launching a digital product initiative focused on the golf, club, and hospitality space. This product, built using React Native, will support a Data as a Service (DaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) model geared toward golf course operators and owners, with data-driven features, payment integrations, and end-to-end reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full digital product lifecycle - from ideation, planning, MVP definition, and launch readiness to post-launch iteration and support
- Lead and coordinate efforts across engineering, design, and reporting teams to develop:
- A scalable React Native application
- Backend tools and infrastructure
- Supporting web portal and admin tools
- Collaborate closely with the VP, internal dev team, and external consultants to ensure technical scope aligns with budget and user expectations
- Oversee early-stage pilots with internal users and early adopters (golf course operators), adjusting scope and UI/UX as needed based on real-world feedback
- Create and maintain a roadmap with input from engineering and business stakeholders
- Plan and execute the infrastructure needed to scale to X concurrent users, ensuring security, compliance (including PII), and performance benchmarks
Ideal Candidate Profile
You're a scrappy, highly technical Product Manager with a proven track record of owning and delivering React Native-based platforms end to end. You've worked side-by-side with engineers and understand the nuances of building MVPs with limited marketing involvement (yet) and are comfortable with ambiguity and moving targets.
You understand infrastructure needs, have supported internal pilots, and have launched scalable apps. Bonus if you've worked in golf tech, hospitality, or other high-touch customer service industries.
Key Qualifications
- 7+ years of Product Management experience, with at least one end-to-end React Native build
- Experience leading MVP development for digital platforms - apps, admin tools, and web interfaces
- Background working with internal pilot users and converting internal use cases into scalable offerings
- Familiarity with payment integrations, and data protection best practices (PII, PCI, etc.)
- Strong ability to work in-office and lead tight collaboration with tech leads and stakeholders
- Experience with Data as a Service (DaaS) or SaaS model delivery highly preferred
- Hospitality, golf industry, or benchmarking/data tools background strongly preferred
Project Structure
- PM engagement is hourly with rate being formally defined.
- 6-8 months initial scope, with the opportunity to expand role or bring on additional hires as product matures
- Budget has been secured; VP and internal stakeholders are evaluating options and proposals
Decision Timeline
- Looking to make a hire by end of June 2025
- Interviews to take place in late May to mid-June
