What to Expect We are looking for an experienced Software Product Manager to lead the development of software used by Megapack customers & partners to procure, deploy, and manage operations of Megapack projects. In this role, you will closely collaborate with IT Software, Business Operations, and other project leaders to ensure customers have a single cohesive experience throughout the project's life. Additionally, this role will own the industrial business sales tools roadmap. They will work with other product managers, sales, sales engineering, IT software, and energy engineering teams to enable sales of new industrial energy products.
This position requires a combination of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and a strong ability to collaborate across teams. Experience in software product management, software development, and the renewable energy sector will set you apart. Strategic thinking, attention to detail, curiosity, and the ability to inspire and communicate effectively are essential to success.
This role is part of the Industrial Product team which oversees the hardware, software, firmware, and services powering Megapack and other industrial energy products.
What You'll Do Define Vision & Strategy: Set the direction for global customer facing industrial energy business software & sales tools to enable company objectives.
Discovery: Gather insights through customer & user interviews and feedback then translate into a roadmap.
Roadmap Prioritization: Create business cases, define product requirements, and prioritize features to meet market and customer needs.
Collaborative Development: Work alongside world-class engineers and professionals to design and deliver software solutions.
Technical Enablement: Develop technical content such as manuals, application notes, and marketing collateral to support both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Education & Advocacy: Educate internal teams, customers, and partners on critical product features and best practices.
Techno-Economic Modeling: Work with engineering & sales teams to build techno-economic models that help customers understand what Megapack is capable of and how that translates to the goals of their project. Then translate these models into usable software.
UX/UI Design: Collaborate with visual designers in Figma to build intuitive experiences that look great.
What You'll Bring Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years in software product management, software engineering, or a related field with a deep understanding of software development processes, tools, and best practices.
Strong preference for experience with customer facing B2B software & sales tools.
Familiarity with utility scale energy project lifecycle.
Blend of technical and commercial expertise, with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships across stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong passion for advancing renewable energy and grid transformation.
Proactive mindset with a bias for action, leveraging industry knowledge and customer insights to drive improvements.

Expected Compensation: $128,000 - $228,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits.
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
