Job DescriptionSenior Product Manager- Industrial Products Atmus Filtration Technologies is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Product Manager to spearhead the lifecycle management and marketing of our filtration product lines. In this pivotal role, you will shape the future of our product offerings by analyzing market trends, developing robust product strategies, and leading impactful marketing initiatives. The focus is on marketing and product planning, rather than sales generation and opportunity management. Responsibilities- Product Lifecycle Leadership: Own and manage key product line lifecycles from beginning to end, ensuring alignment with market needs and business goals. Determine when products should be deemed obsolete.
- Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Develop the long-term product line strategy, create forecasts, and contribute to the annual operating plan of the business unit.
- Marketing & Launch Execution: Lead marketing for new product introductions and changes, driving the creation of product introduction plans and managing all elements of the marketing mix. Present marketing approaches for review.
- Pricing & Branding: Drive pricing strategies throughout the product lifecycle, ensure effective implementation of product branding, and oversee related internal and external communications.
- Market Analysis & Competitive Positioning: Interpret market and industry trends, utilize market research to inform product planning, and define Atmus's competitive stance in the target market.
- Intellectual Property Protection: Safeguard the organization's intellectual property by collaborating with legal counsel and engineering.
- Customer Satisfaction: Drive improvements in customer satisfaction and resolve escalated product-related issues.
- Process Improvement: Recommend marketing process changes to enhance product introduction and change processes.
- Team Leadership & Development: Develop work plans for Product Managers and Associate Product Managers, provide guidance, and delegate assignments to optimize team performance.
QualificationsEducation - Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other Marketing advanced degree preferred.
Experience - Minimum 6+ years relevant product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on industrial filtration or engineered components.
- Experience leading product launches, including go-to-market strategy, competitive analysis, and post-launch performance tracking.
- Experience launching products in global markets or managing multi-region products.
- Preferred experience with product lifecycle management, segmentation, and pricing.
- Preferred experience in oil and gas, industrial and/or chemical industries.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications; experience working closely with engineers.
- Proficiency with PLM/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Arena), and tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills-able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and project execution.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset.
Base salary range: $117,489 - $146,861
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
