Overview:
ABI Document Support Services is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join the IT team.

The Senior Product Manager's role is to set the direction for existing and new products under the company portfolio by partnering with stakeholders on enhancements and new product offerings to attract clients and increase market share. The Senior Product Manager will oversee the development of project and enhancement proposals, represent the business interests of the stakeholders, prioritize the development team's efforts and regularly report high level progress to upper management. The role will have accountability of all product roadmaps with quarterly and yearly goals. The Senior Product Manager may have direct reports such as Business Analysts or Release Managers and will both mentor and oversee their requirements gathering and documentation activities.

The pay range is approximately $100,000 - 120,000

Responsibilities:
Capture customer product requirements and prioritize them to meet both business and customer needs

Work with software development, sales and marketing, and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction

Identify market direction and future development required to build a long-term product strategy

Translate customer needs and feature enhancements into detailed development requirements

Hold regular meetings with both stakeholders and developers will ensure that requested changes meet and exceed the customer's expectations and are adopted by end users with minimal conflict

Become a power user with in-depth knowledge of company software and underlying technologies and their interactions

Conduct demos at regular project cadences to engage the users and develop business implementation plans to ensure proper adoption

Work closely with the delivery teams from project planning to deployment and ensure the product is aligned to business needs through acceptance testing

Communicate the business process and any deltas as a part of project delivery and ensure that documentation is captured for the delivery teams and stakeholders

Conduct regular analysis of major competitors in the market to ensure the company continues to reinvent and differentiate itself from its peers

Assist in the training of Sales Account Executives on the use of eSummary and other technologies

Assist in testing and deployment of eSummary and other related releases

Resolve daily issues of a complex scope that impact employees, customers, and overall business objectives

ESSENTIAL MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing and monitoringworkflow and providing support, training, and techniques to assist staff in achieving department daily/weekly/monthly goals and standards

Encouraging positive morale, maintaining harmony among staff, and resolving grievances when necessary

Overseeing the completion and approval of employee timecards and coordinating overtime needs with management and staff as needed

Actively participating in the department's staffing requirements including hiring, onboarding, and separating of employees

Creating and implementing plan to meet department's goals and metrics based on workload and client needs

Communicating change effectively and supporting those affected by change

Managing insubordinate staff when warranted and initiating coaching or corrective actions as required and/or directed by upper management

Actively participating and successfully conducting annual performance evaluations

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in the field of computer information and/or 7 years equivalent work experience in an agile or SAFe development environment required

5+ years of proven Product Management experience driving features and development of a complex product required

Experience working with IT departments and software developers required

Must demonstrate a good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives

Must demonstrate self-motivation and direction, ability to motivate others

Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly

Must demonstrate effective training/ coaching skills

Must demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to challenge the status-quo and drive new thinking

Must have startup or new product development experience and be tech savvy

Must have proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques

Must have experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
