This opportunity is part of the McDonald's Customer Experience, Product & Design team where our vision is to develop digital customer experiences that delight our customers and enable our crews to operate our restaurants reliably and effectively.

The Senior Product Manager, McDelivery Logistics Integrations is responsible for the platform that will streamline McDelivery order routing, tracking, and fulfillment processes, ensuring an outstanding ordering experience for customers ordering delivery in our mobile apps. This includes overseeing the creation and management of our standardized set of delivery APIs as well as owning the strategy and design for the new logistics platform which will service all types of delivery fulfillment partners.

In this role, you'll work with cross-functional teams, such as tech leads, designers, developers, data analysts, business and market stakeholders, and external vendors to define and implement a robust integrated delivery logistics strategy. Your expertise will support the detailed operation of our industry-leading McDelivery ordering platforms, which is a fundamental part of daily life for millions of customers around the world.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong logistics subject matter expertise to help craft the product vision and strategy for the engine that will drive one of the business' key strategic priorities for the next 3+ years.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Subject matter expert in delivery logistics and brings a strong perspective on logistics strategies and understand its role within the broader Delivery business at McDonald's.
  • Drive product development for McDelivery Logistics and partner with the Global McDelivery Strategy team as well as other McDelivery Product Managers to align on requirements and a holistic strategy.
  • Define and prioritize features, user stories, and backlog items and ensure that they are communicated effectively to the development team.
  • Manage the product release cycle, including planning, testing, and market deployment.
  • Craft and execute a comprehensive product roadmap and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Act as a main point of contact for any third-party integration partners and vendors involved in McDelivery order logistics and fulfillment.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and technologies to advise product strategy and ensure the product portfolio remains competitive.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as design, engineering, architecture, operations, legal, and analytics to define improvement opportunities in the form of epics and stories.
  • Thoroughly understand customer, crew, and business needs to develop an engaging, best-in-class delivery experience.
  • Ruthlessly prioritize epics and stories within the backlog to deliver the highest value features first and make calculated trade-offs where necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science or an equivalent.
  • 6+ years' experience working in a software development environment as product manager.
  • Previous experience working in a logistics-related role, a plus.
  • Demonstrated track record in product management with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an ability to translate data insights into product enhancements.
  • Experience partnering with stakeholders across an at-scale, complex, global matrixed org setup.
  • Strong experience in Agile Development, application of Agile techniques and delivery practices.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to advise product strategy.

The expected salary range for this role is

$149,260 - $190,310 per year.
