Description
- Lead and manage the R&D team in the development of innovative vitamin and supplement formulations.
- Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from concept through commercialization.
- Ensure all formulations comply with industry regulations (e.g., FDA, cGMP, NSF) and company quality standards.
- Conduct research on emerging ingredients, technologies, and trends to inform product innovation.
- Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs to prepare technical documentation and support product claims.
- Partner with Procurement and Manufacturing to source raw materials and optimize production processes.
- Manage R&D project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams and external partners.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for product and process
- Leading the formulation of new FMCG products.
- Collaborating with the engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Developing effective test protocols.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Profile
A successful 'Senior Product Development Manager' should have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred but not required
- 7+ years of R&D experience in the vitamin, supplement, or nutraceutical industry.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and launching vitamin or supplement products.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the dietary supplement industry.
- Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficient in formulation software and data analysis tools.
