ABR Employment Services is hiring a Senior Product Designer on behalf of our client in Fitchburg, WI . This full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to lead product design efforts in a cutting-edge environment where sustainability and innovation go hand in hand. You'll work in a modern Design Center equipped with 3D modeling tools, prototype labs, and the latest CAD software, helping clients bring sustainable and functional packaging solutions to life. What You'll Do:
•   Lead the development of innovative packaging and product designs that meet client needs and brand objectives
•   Collaborate with customers, account managers, and internal teams from concept through production
•   Utilize thermoforming, injection molding, blow molding, and paperboard technologies in your designs
•   Present concepts to customers and stakeholders, guiding projects from prototype to full launch
•   Ensure packaging aligns with sustainability goals and supports long-term environmental initiatives
•   Conduct patent searches and contribute to IP protection strategies
•   Support production teams during new product implementation What You Bring:
•   Bachelor's in Packaging, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience in product/tooling design
OR Associate degree with 10+ years of experience in plastics, packaging, or manufacturing
•   Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software; familiarity with Adobe Suite and MS Office
•   Deep understanding of packaging technologies and materials
•   Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple design initiatives
•   Clear and confident communication skills, especially in customer-facing settings
•   Passion for innovation and environmentally conscious design Tools & Environment:
•   Onsite Design Center with access to 3D printers, CAD platforms, Adobe tools, and prototype materials
•   Office and hands-on lab setting - you'll see your ideas come to life
•   Work directly with materials and samples to refine and perfect product solutions
