Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to forecast material needs and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and sustainability practices in procurement processes.
- Analyze procurement data and prepare reports for management, identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage supplier performance and conduct regular assessments to drive continuous improvement.
Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of managing supplier relationships.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
