If you are looking to take on a challenging role with a significant impact, this is your chance. We are expanding our team and currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer. In this position, you will be involved in innovative design and prototyping within an agile team, contributing to high-stakes programs.
Your role will include developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems tailored to document requirements, including processing intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, and real-time systems. You will work both independently and collaboratively to review and test software components, ensuring they meet our stringent design standards.
We are offering a $25,000 sign-on bonus. Clearance Required: Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Responsibilities: - Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance metrics.
- Debug existing software, resolving defects effectively.
- Create and modify software to enhance functionality.
- Seamlessly integrate current software into new or modified systems or environments.
- Develop and execute data queries for existing or proposed databases.
- Documenting software and systems accurately.
- Develop algorithms aimed at meeting superior system performance standards.
Basic Qualifications: - 20 years of experience as a Software Engineer in similar scope, type, and complexity programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Clearance Required: Must hold TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Demonstrated experience in debugging and defect resolution.
- Proven background in software design and performance requirements analysis.
- Strong capability in developing effective data queries.
- Experience in integrating software within modified systems.
- Ability to write and review comprehensive software documentation.
Preferred Qualifications: - Proficiency in tools such as Git, Linux, Jira, Confluence, and Eclipse.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with React or similar libraries (Vue, Angular).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Able to lead technical teams effectively.
- Experience in complex database interfaces and queries.
- Proven ability to maintain quality control over software development and modifications.
