Your Career

We are searching for dedicated and skilled individuals to join our Next-gen Firewall dataplane team as Software Engineers. You will work alongside a world-class software engineering team, tackling cutting-edge technologies for our firewall solutions. In this role, you will lead the design and development of next-generation firewalls, take ownership of significant software components, collaborate with product management to address customer needs, apply your expertise to functional design, and ensure robust implementation while coordinating across quality assurance and field support teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Your Impact
  • Develop critical dataplane components for our state-of-the-art Next Generation Firewalls, deployed in Enterprise, Data Center, Cloud, and Service Provider environments.
  • Lead the development of Layer 2 to Layer 4 network security features.
  • Drive the creation of next-generation security products.
  • Handle critical customer escalations and deliver timely root cause analyses.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather user requirements, including Product Management, QA, and Support.
  • Demonstrate effective decision-making, taking ownership of tasks and leading assignments independently.
Your Experience
  • Proficient in common network protocols (TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, multicast).
  • Expertise in dataplane technologies, notably DPDK-based packet processing.
  • Extensive experience with network device features such as NAT, ALG, and DoS Protection.
  • Deep understanding of computer architecture, cybersecurity practices, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with Broadcom chips for switching, QoS, and interface management is a plus.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of common software vulnerabilities and their mitigations.
  • Strong familiarity with Linux systems.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C, Python, and Shell scripting.
  • Proven leadership experience in networking domains.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with cross-functional teams.

Compensation Disclosure

Compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, and work location, with starting base salaries ranging between $0 - $0/YR for eligible candidates. Additional compensation may include restricted stock units and bonuses.
