Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Practitioner to join the Long-Term Team in Ramsgate, Kent. This role offers the opportunity to work with individuals and families in need of long-term support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage cases for individuals with complex long-term needs.
- Work with individuals and families to create care plans and support strategies.
- Provide supervision and guidance to junior staff and assist in their professional development.
- Liaise with other professionals and agencies to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Contribute to team development and the improvement of service delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Essential: Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work)
- Essential: Registration with Social Work England (SWE).
- Significant experience working in social services, with a focus on long-term care.
- Experience in supervising staff and mentoring junior practitioners.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
