Job Description

Only qualified Senior PowerBuilder Developer candidates located near the Provo, UT area will be considered due to the role requiring an onsite presence


Required Skills:


• Must have 10+ years of recent experience developing and maintaining applications with PowerBuilder (version 10.x or higher) and its related technologies


• Must have 10+ years of recent experience with MS SQL Server related code development


• Must have 10+ years of recent experience working with eChart or a similar EMR, developed using PowerBuilder and designed for a state mental health treatment facility


Job Duties:


• Develops, codes, tests and documents technical solutions for eChart suite of applications


• Utilizes problem-solving skills to identify root causes of bugs and devise solutions


• Applies business knowledge to plan and implement solutions for new requirements and enhancements


• Documents tasks and solutions in Jira


• Creates and verifies test builds


• Coordinates user testing with QA group at USH, resolving issues to meet deadlines


• Adheres to project timelines and schedules.


• Adheres to client and agency specific policies


• Applies client and agency specific standards when designing and coding application modules


• Develops time and effort estimates


• Follows software development processes and checklists to ensure completeness and stability of software


• Works closely with enterprise and inhouse database administrators to coordinate database design and management


• Helps with the migration of legacy code to web technologies


• Works as an active member of the development team


• Recognizes and takes ownership in meeting team sprint goals


• Aligns individual activities with team activities


• Communicates progress, problems and status with team members


This is hybrid role and looking Utah Residents only


Start Date: 07/01/2025

Tentative interview dates: June 12th and 13th

Hybrid: 40% onsite, 60% remote
