Our client seeks a Senior Pensions Administrator to join their team.
You will oversee the administration of pension schemes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing guidance to Pensions Administrators.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the administration of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes
- Overseeing the processing of new joiners, leavers, retirements, and transfers
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of member records and pension calculations
- Providing expert advice and support to scheme members, employers, and external providers
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
- Preparing and reviewing annual benefit statements and other member communications
- Handling complex member queries and resolving issues promptly
- Supporting the implementation of pension scheme changes and updates
- Conducting audits and ensuring data accuracy
- Mentoring and providing guidance to pensions administrators
- Participating in projects to improve pension administration processes and systems
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience in Pensions or a related field, such as Life Assurance
- Relevant professional qualifications are an advantage
- Leadership experience or the ability to mentor and guide junior team members
- Proficient in using pension administration software, along with Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- In-depth knowledge of pension schemes and relevant legislation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of GDPR and handling confidential and sensitive information
