Sr. Payroll Specialist - Responsibilities
- Process weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payrolls for union and non-union hourly and salaried employees across multiple U.S. locations.
- Manage payroll entries, remittances, garnishments, and incentive/bonus payments.
- Ensure compliance with payroll policies, tax regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Maintain employee data and generate management reports using Workday and Kronos.
- Partner with HR and Finance to improve payroll processes and documentation.
- Support year-end balancing, tax filings, and reporting activities.
Sr. Payroll Specialist - Requirements
- 4+ years of payroll experience in a complex, multi-location environment.
- Experience with Workday Payroll and Kronos is strongly preferred.
- ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of federal/state payroll laws and benefit administration.
- Familiarity with union payroll processes and collective bargaining agreements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- CPP certification or willingness to obtain is preferred.
