Addison Group, in partnership with our client in the tech industry, seeks a Senior Payroll Specialist to join our client's payroll team.

DUTIES OF THE SENIOR PAYROLL SPECIALIST
- Process data obtained from the timekeeping system and transfer to the payroll processing system
- Enter payroll data into the payroll processing system.
- Review hours recorded and follow-up with managers and employees on any discrepancies on timecards
- Calculate wages for temporary work, bonuses, commissions, vacation, terminations, and other special payroll requirements
- Process all garnishments, bonuses, child support payments
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
- Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary (W-2, W-2c, etc.)
- Maintain multi-state tax rates
- Print and issue manual checks as required
- Respond to any employee questions about deductions, calculations of paycheck, and changes in compensation
Record Keeping
- Track all day offs
- Maintain all employee payroll records
- Keep relevant personal information confidential
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SENIOR PAYROLL SPECIALIST
Required
- At least five (5) years of substantive Payroll Processing and Payroll Taxes experience at federal, state, and local levels
- Payroll processing for at least 400 employees
- SOX Compliance a must.
- Excel experience MUST have Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs
- MUST have ADP and Workforce Now
