Key Responsibilities of the Senior Manager, Payroll
- Manage payroll functions for an organization with employees across multiple states.
- Coach, guide, mentor, develop employees.
- Review and hands-on in accurate and timely processing of payroll on a high-volume basis.
- Bi-weekly, weekly and monthly close including W2 reporting
- Quarterly and annual Federal and State tax reporting.
- Reconcile and timely payment of payroll tax and benefits.
- Establish and maintain policies and procedures including participating in continuous improvement projects.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Preferred qualifications of the Senior Manager, Payroll
- Bachelor's in human resources, Management, Finance or Accounting.
- Experience in managing a team and working on large scale payroll in a multi-state environment.
- Experience working with ADP or Kronos or Oracle.
