Key Responsibilities of the Senior Manager, Payroll

  • Manage payroll functions for an organization with employees across multiple states.
  • Coach, guide, mentor, develop employees.
  • Review and hands-on in accurate and timely processing of payroll on a high-volume basis.
  • Bi-weekly, weekly and monthly close including W2 reporting
  • Quarterly and annual Federal and State tax reporting.
  • Reconcile and timely payment of payroll tax and benefits.
  • Establish and maintain policies and procedures including participating in continuous improvement projects.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Preferred qualifications of the Senior Manager, Payroll

  • Bachelor's in human resources, Management, Finance or Accounting.
  • Experience in managing a team and working on large scale payroll in a multi-state environment.
  • Experience working with ADP or Kronos or Oracle.
