Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Assist attorneys with all aspects of personal injury and medical malpractice case management
Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal correspondence
File documents via NY ECF and PACER systems
Communicate with clients, adversaries, and court staff
Maintain calendar deadlines in coordination with support staff
Support attorneys throughout all litigation phases including trial prep

Qualifications Needed:
Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred
Minimum 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury or medical malpractice
Strong knowledge of New York CPLR and litigation procedure
Experience with drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence
Familiarity with e-filing systems (NY ECF, PACER)
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and staff
