This National Fire & Security Systems Installer is seeking to recruit a commercially astute Senior Operations Manager to oversee and manage a team primarily consisting of project managers and project engineers. The team delivers fire and security systems installation projects within the M&E and construction environment, involving high-value, multi-million-pound installations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the M&E Client base project team and the delivery of assigned work streams and projects across the UK, ensuring high standards and professional service. Key responsibilities include reviewing commercial high-risk contract terms, cascading information to project delivery teams, coordinating with purchasing, engineering teams, and clients to ensure projects are completed within the allocated time frame. The role also involves being accountable for project managers' forecasts against set budgets, and ensuring effective communication of commercial terms to project delivery teams.
Candidates should have experience working in an M&E installation project environment, ideally with knowledge of fire and security systems (though not essential). They should be experienced senior managers with a desire to develop processes and procedures, and possess a high level of commercial contracts knowledge.
Ideally, candidates will be based in the Midlands, but the role is open to applicants from anywhere in England. The position offers a basic salary of £75,000 (negotiable), plus a car allowance and benefits package.
