Job Summary
Provide campus-wide support for the configuration, implementation and support of operating systems and applications for all levels of faculty, staff and students.
Essential Functions
Provide helpdesk support for campus-wide customers and for Network Systems Analysts at the campuses. Create and maintain all district-wide student user/email accounts including online students.
Create and support campus-wide application packages for instruction and staff functions.
Configure and maintain campus-wide computers. Install, upgrade, and maintain campus-wide network servers.
Research new products and solutions for existing applications to better manage the campus-wide computer systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer related field and two years of experience in installation, configuration, and administration of Microsoft active directory networks, latest Windows server, and Windows workstation operating systems OR Associate's degree in computer related field and a total of four years of work experience.
Experience with Microsoft DNS, DHCP, and WINS network services.
Experience with commercial software applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Configuration Manager, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Exchange.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to plan, organize, document and manage time.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds.
Desired Qualifications
Installation, configuration, and administration of Microsoft Configuration Manager.
Knowledge and experience creating and modifying PowerShell scripts and batch files for automation purposes.
Experience using VMWare, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and Avigilon Unity.
Experience in the creation and deployment of application installs.
