Join Leidos as a Senior Network Solutions Architect, contributing to a prestigious DOD contract that supports large-scale IT operations. In this pivotal role, you will help modernize and innovate the delivery of IT services to DTRA's mission partners globally.

Your expertise will be vital in overseeing network infrastructure and implementing upgraded capabilities. You will be responsible for defining technical requirements, conducting feasibility studies, leading pilot projects, and crafting implementation plans, while also managing network monitoring and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate network operations engineering teams to ensure efficient troubleshooting across all tiers.
  • Supervise real-time monitoring of global enterprise networks utilizing DoD-approved tools.
  • Develop operational procedures, incident response workflows, and escalation protocols.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact during major outages and cybersecurity incidents.
  • Collaborate with various mission partners and command teams on network status and operational impacts.
  • Ensure compliance with configuration management and change advisory board procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver critical operational briefings and after-action reports to senior leadership.
  • Design secure network solutions that consolidate connectivity services.
  • Develop capacity planning and scaling strategies for network and security environments.
  • Identify optimization strategies to enhance network performance and capacity.
  • Support the development of IP addressing schemes across diverse network architectures.
  • Work with information assurance teams to ensure compliance with DoD standards.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field with 8-12 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6-10 years (equivalent experience accepted).
  • Possession of network certification at or above CCNA level.
  • Active DoD IAT Level II certification is required prior to commencement.
  • Current DoD Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Experience documenting network designs using tools like Visio or PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Experience with site surveys and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with migration plans for IT systems and services.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of LAN, WAN, TCP/UDP, IPSec, VPN, and related technologies.
  • Experience working with various network vendor technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing large network infrastructures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure situations to resolve network complications.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to draft technical documentation.
  • Capacity to engage with executive leadership on significant organizational matters.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Cisco Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent.
  • Experience with enterprise network management tools.
  • Hands-on experience with WAN and LAN technologies.
  • Expertise in improving complex enterprise networks.
  • Deep understanding of DoD security protocols for network infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of system hardening processes, including DoD STIG implementation.
  • Familiarity with reporting and business applications such as Power BI and SQL.

Pay Range: $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
