The Multi-domain Solutions Division (MDS) is on the lookout for a dedicated Senior Network Infrastructure Administrator. This role is critical for a new cyber security program, focusing on government-critical systems. Be a part of an operation that includes the development, integration, delivery, and maintenance of IT-managed security services, monitoring cybersecurity threats and ensuring security posture for the enterprise. This opportunity is in anticipation of a future contract award.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of our enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Provide technical leadership, drive innovation, and ensure stability and security of mission-critical network systems.
  • Oversee deployment of advanced network solutions and establish best practices for network operations and security.
  • Define network strategy in partnership with IT leadership, mentoring junior staff and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Support a range of programs through planning, designing, and evaluating network components.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies while monitoring the installation, modification, and servicing of network equipment.
  • Develop network architecture specifications and conduct capacity planning.
  • Implement and oversee robust security measures, such as firewalls and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, conducting regular security audits to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, while implementing proactive monitoring strategies.
  • Drive automation of network management tasks through scripting and management tools.
  • Lead the resolution of complex network incidents, ensuring rapid diagnosis and minimal disruption.
  • Collaborate with IT, security, and development teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.
  • Provide mentorship to network engineers and junior staff while driving cross-functional projects.
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree with 12-15 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 10-13 years; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Extensive experience with DoD IT security protocols and complex network infrastructure design and management.
  • Proficiency with network device management (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.) and solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
  • Experience in managing firewalls, VPNs, and strong network security practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and experience with security monitoring tools.
  • Strong scripting for automation (Python, Ansible, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and familiarity with SIEM and IDS/IPS.

Pay Range: $112,450.00 - $203,275.00

Note: The pay range is an estimate and actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
