Senior Network Engineer with Security Clearance

We have an outstanding Contract position for a Senior Network Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Hickam AFB, HI surrounding area. Pay Rate: $77.28 US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities: As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll provide subject-matter expertise on the engineering and technical services required to maintain, integrate, and enhance critical systems (both command and unit-level). Systems Analysis & Design: Analyzing and developing plans and designs for C4I systems capabilities, and creating integration and implementation plans and schedules.
Evaluation & Recommendations: Evaluating and making recommendations for commercial and government off-the-shelf (COTS/GOTS) hardware and software applications.
Project Monitoring: Monitoring project statuses, preparing milestone status reports, and presenting updates to program managers and client staff.
Technical Support: Providing technical and administrative support for systems installation, testing, administration, maintenance, and programming.
Operational Support: Offering operational and maintenance support for C4I systems, including system administration, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Architectural Upgrades: Supporting the installation and upgrading Basic Hiring Criteria. Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI Clearance.
US Citizenship is required.
Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related scientific field.
Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in C4I-related systems, activities, and programs.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Certifications: CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and/or Cisco Certifying Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise. Desired Qualifications: Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of Network Protocols, Windows, Linux, and UNIX operating systems.
Web & Intranet Technologies: Familiarity with World Wide Web, Intelink, and intranet technology and their processes & applications.
Information Security: Knowledge of DoD Information Security Policies and Programs for COMPUSEC and INFOSEC, as well as Multi-Level Security and emerging Information Warfare Concepts.
Military Knowledge: Understanding of Military Organizations, Operations, and Operational Information Requirements in peacetime, crisis, and war.
Intelligence Systems: Knowledge of Air Force & Joint Intelligence Systems (examples: GALE and PCI-3/T).
Certifications: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Linux+, VMWARE Certified Professional 6 - Network Virtualization, Desktop and Mobility, Cloud Management and Automation.
