About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting high-priority defense and mission-critical systems. This is a key position where you will design, engineer, and maintain secure, resilient network infrastructures for government clients. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain secure enterprise network architectures supporting mission-critical operations. Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other network devices in classified and unclassified environments. Perform network system administration, including hardware and software updates, patching, and monitoring. Ensure network configurations comply with DoD security standards, including STIGs and RMF requirements. Analyze, isolate, and resolve network system issues across multiple environments. Document network configurations, topology diagrams, and system procedures. Collaborate closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure the network environment meets security and compliance requirements. Lead and participate in technical meetings, providing expert guidance and recommendations. Provide Tier III support and mentorship to junior network personnel. Support the development and implementation of network continuity and disaster recovery plans. Basic Qualifications: Active Secret security clearance required. 8+ years of experience in network engineering in DoD or similarly classified environments. Strong experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, or similar technologies. Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting LAN/WAN/VPN environments. Hands-on experience implementing DoD cybersecurity controls within network architectures. In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), VLANs, and network segmentation. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Certifications (Required or Ability to Obtain Quickly): DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+). Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) preferred. Desired Qualifications: Experience supporting classified networks (SIPRNet, JWICS, etc.). Familiarity with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible). Experience supporting network boundary solutions and enterprise firewall deployments. Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture principles. Why Join Us? Competitive compensation at $175,000 annually.
