Senior Network Engineer with Security Clearance

GCyber is seeking a Senior Network Engineer, to support a high profile DISA customer. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will maintain a large, complex networking infrastructure. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will: Act as a subject-matter expert in network routing, switching, and performance monitoring, providing troubleshooting support. Evaluate and recommend improvements for system additions, infrastructure decisions, and cloud solutions based on business strategy. Provide guidance and leadership to IT staff, including managing incident resolution and ensuring hardware/software compatibility. Deploy, maintain, and monitor network hardware, services, and settings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and operational requirements. Collaborate with security teams and develop automation solutions to enhance system performance, security, and migration tasks. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Active DoD Secret security clearance Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent 5+ years of primary role operating, troubleshooting, installing network routers and switches 5+ years primary role designing, architecting routed and switched networks 2+ years as senior or lead engineer in planning, designing, and building software defined networks. 3+ years of working in a DoD environment IAT level III certification (i.e., CASP+, CCNP - Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH) One nationally recognized network certification
