Senior Network Engineer with Security Clearance

This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance. 2HB Incorporated is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. Core Tasks: Configure and optimize network switches, routers and firewalls. Configure Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS) Manage application layer filtering on NextGen Firewalls. Configure and troubleshoot virtual networking, vlans, and virtual routing and forwarding (VRFs). Develop and implement network backup and recovery procedures. Diagnose network connectivity problems. Install and maintain network infrastructure device operating system software. Monitor network capacity and performance. mitigate network vulnerabilities to ensure information is safeguarded against outside parties. Test and maintain network infrastructure including software and hardware devices. Configure and manage a VMware Cluster to support multiple tenant systems. Requirements: MS in STEM AND 10 years' experience, OR BS degree in STEM AND 12 years' experience, OR HS and 15 years' experience as a Network Engineer Experience with Cisco IOS and PAN-OS Experience with VMware/ESXi Experience with Switch VLAN setup Experience with VMware virtual NIC config for isolation Ability to demonstrate cyber/IT related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving.
