Title: Sr Network Engineer (Big-IP / F5)
Location: Washington, DC region
Description: The Senior Network Engineer functions as a Subject Matter Expert within the Consulting Services division of BlueAlly. The Senior Network Engineer must be able to lead small to mid-size initiatives, work independently, and develop an in-depth technical and business understanding of the working environment for Clients across numerous industries and/or verticals.
Responsibilities - Applies broad technical expertise to address business challenges
- Leads a multi-disciplinary teams focused on a complex project
- Develops and delivers briefings and presentations for clients
- Produces relevant documentation
- Manages project budgets and schedules
- Develops and presents relevant reports
Position Requirements - Subject Matter Expert level in BIG-IP / F5 technology
- Extensive experience in Cisco Data Center and Enterprise Routing and Switching
- Extensive experience in Cisco Wireless
Nice to Have Requirements - Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- Experience with Cisco DNA-Center
- Experience with Infoblox
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
Education - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- CCNP or equivalent experience
Knowledge & Experience - 12 years relevant experience
- Functions as a Subject Matter Expert
- Ability to act independently
- Leads small to mid-size initiatives
- In depth technical and business understanding of the working environment
- Expert knowledge of all aspects in one or more of the following:
- Network Engineering
- Security
- Data Center
- Network Design/Configuration
- Unified Communications and Collaboration
- Virtualization
