We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Network Engineer who is both hands-on with network infrastructure and capable of leading teams, projects, and initiatives. Job Overview:

As a Lead Network Engineer, you will have accountability for network architecture, implementation, troubleshooting, and

security, while also playing a key role in guiding junior engineers and collaborating with stakeholders. You'll work closely with IT, security, and operations teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and security across our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on design, deployment, and management of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
  • Lead network projects from design to implementation, ensuring high performance and security best practices.
  • Serve as a technical mentor, guiding and supporting junior network engineers.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network performance issues to maintain uptime and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to harden networks against threats and ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Manage and optimize network monitoring tools and automation for efficiency.
  • Work closely with senior management to develop network strategies, budgets, and road maps.
  • Provide leadership in crisis situations, ensuring swift resolution of network outages or security incidents.
Requirements

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong expertise with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or other enterprise networking hardware.
  • Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network security best practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide and mentor team members.
  • Experience managing network-related projects and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent are highly preferred.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while ensuring network uptime and security.
