Senior Network Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a qualified Senior Network Engineer to support a mission-critical program based in Colorado Springs, CO. This position requires an active SECRET clearance and will be fully onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. This job opens for applications on 3/19. Responsibilities of the Senior Network Engineer: Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs.
Monitor and optimize network performance.
Troubleshoot network issues using logs and tools.
Plan for network capacity and bandwidth.
Integrate network with cloud and IT systems.
Stay updated on networking trends and best practices.
Document network configurations and procedures.
Mentor junior network engineers.
Qualifications of the Senior Network Engineer: 10+ years of experience in network engineering
Extensive experience with Cisco network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
Must possess one of the following certifications (CCNP, CCDE, CCIE)
Must be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule
Must hold ACTIVE Secret clearance
Compensation for the Senior Network Engineer: Salary: $125,000-150,000/year flexible based on experience
