Network Architect
Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Network Architect with deep expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing DNS-DHCP-IPAM (DDI) platforms for large-scale enterprise environments. As part of our Hosting Network Architecture team, you will define system requirements, design scalable solutions, and drive implementations in collaboration with operational partners. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience managing change in a mission-critical production environment.
Infoblox and IPv6 migration experience is a 'nice to have'
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Implementation:
- Design and implement DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) infrastructures for global, large-scale environments.
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of DDI services.
- Support IPv6 migration initiatives and contribute to automation strategies.
Project Delivery & Automation:
- Participate in all phases of product development, from concept to deployment.
- Automate DDI tasks and processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Work closely with other Network Architects to define system requirements and drive implementation with operational teams.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Partner with network engineers, system administrators, and cloud teams to optimize and enhance infrastructure.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure changes are implemented seamlessly without disrupting production environments.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with InfoBlox IPAM architecture, implementation, and operations.
- 5+ years of experience in network architecture or engineering, designing and maintaining highly resilient, scalable LAN/WAN networks.
- Strong knowledge of LAN, MAN, WAN topologies, routing protocols, DNS/DHCP, IPAM, multicast, VRF, QoS, and modern data center architectures.
- Experience working in large multinational or enterprise environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in network automation.
- Experience architecting large-scale, enterprise-grade networks with a focus on security, performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ability to manage projects, including detailed planning, process management, and documentation.
