ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented
Senior Network Administrator to join our team in
Clarksburg WV. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Maintain computer networks and systems including software, mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware.
- Install and configure network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues; update virus protection software to keep data and communications protected.
- Monitor computer systems to improve network performance for computer systems and networks.
- Communicate networking issues to other employees and management, especially in training new users.
- Fix software and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the systems.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and operational procedures.
- Proven project management experience.
Minimum Qualifications: - 7+ years of experience with a bachelors degree in computer science, management information systems or related field or 13 years of experience with no degree.
- Five + years of experience in network administration.
- Knowledge of network protocols, standards, and devices (TCP/IP, Ethernet, LAN, WAN, VPN).
- Familiar with network security principles and practices (firewall configuration).
- Knowledgeable with network operating systems (Windows Server) and management tools (Cisco IOS).
- Experience working in an Agile organization using SAFe.
- Shift: Day, with possible after hour and/or weekend on call duties that usually rotate among staff.
Preferred Qualifications: - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
Clearance Requirements: - Must have a current/active Top-Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements: - Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
- Constantly operates a computer.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
