Description
Under supervision of Inpatient Psychiatry unit Nurse Manager or designee, The Psychiatric Group Therapist Coordinator; functions as part of a professional psychiatric care coordination team by providing daily oversight in the team functions and duties. The LMHC serves as resource to clinical staff to assist them in evaluating patient needs for psychosocial and emotional support and provides skilled psychosocial services to patients and their families when dealing with crises, transitions and continuity of care; Coordinates continuity of patient care for the achievement of consistent and/or expected psychosocial outcomes, patient advocacy, and efficient resource management; Coordinates the care for complex designated patients from admission to discharge.

Required qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Mental health counselor, professional or Social Worker. Or equivalent educ/experience.
- upon hire: Washington Marriage and Family Therapist License. Or
- upon hire: Washington Mental Health Counselor License. Or
- upon hire: Washington Advanced Social Worker License. Or
- upon hire: Washington Advanced Social Worker Associate License. Or
- upon hire: Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License. Or
- upon hire: Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Associate License (Vendor Managed) Or
- upon hire: Washington Behavioral Analyst License (Vendor Managed)
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years Social services experience with a health care related organization, preferably in acute care/ care coordination.
- 1 year Social services experience with a health care related organization preferably in acute care/ care coordination mental health work including conducting psychotherapeutic and psycho educational groups.
