About the Role Join our team as a Senior Medical Administrator (SMA) and take on a pivotal leadership role in delivering exceptional clinical care at our state-of-the-art medical center. As the SMA, you will be at the forefront of integrating clinical operations focused on patient-centered, cost-effective, and quality-driven care.
In this dynamic position, you will collaborate with clinical departments, campus leadership, and other medical center leaders to spearhead performance improvement, enhance productivity, and ensure compliance with health regulations. The ideal candidate will be a practicing orthopedic surgeon with a strong emphasis on process and performance improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing a robust patient-centered quality and safety program.
- Creating efficient workflows that promote operational excellence.
- Leading a diverse team in a highly matrixed environment.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates should possess an MD/DO or equivalent degree, be Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery, and be eligible for licensure in Iowa. An advanced degree in healthcare or business is preferred.
