Our client, a leader in the industrial equipment sector, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting product management and sales teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. • Support sales inquiries and the design lifecycle of locally produced products as well as the localization of internationally produced products.
• Work closely with Product Management and Sales to provide input for new technologies and features anticipated for customer applications.
• Develop concepts and confirm feasibility for customer option inquiries for new and current products.
• Produce customer option quotes including feasibility, concept, timing, and cost.
• Effectively communicate with other functional groups such as Order Admin, Production, Quality, and Purchasing. What's Needed?
• Minimum of four years' industry experience in design and applications engineering.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BSME or BSEE preferred).
• Basic knowledge and understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems, including schematics.
• Experience with solid modeling and detailed drawings.
