Senior Mechanical Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading design and development projects, utilizing advanced engineering principles to create innovative solutions for complex mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components using SolidWorks.
- Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure product reliability and performance.
- Manage product development projects from concept through to production, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
- Perform engineering analysis to evaluate designs and improve performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop prototypes and iterate designs based on testing feedback.
- Generate and maintain technical documentation for all projects and designs.
- Analyze manufacturing processes to optimize production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct stress analysis to ensure product durability under various operating conditions.
- Advise on materials selection based on engineering principles and project requirements.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and interns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficient in SolidWorks and other CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques.
- Experience with thermodynamics and materials science principles.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and prototyping techniques.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to lead teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
