• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA), FEA tools, and other engineering analysis software.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of driveline components, hybrid motor systems, and gear set design principles.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely. Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Powertrain Design & Evaluation Engineer (Driveline & Transaxle - Hybrid Systems) to work onsite in Ann Arbor, MI. This role will support a leading automotive manufacturing company (R&D). Responsibilities include:
• Design and Development: Lead the design and development of driveline components including driveshafts, prop shafts, and transfer cases, as well as transaxle components such as differentials, hybrid motors, and gear sets.
• Engineering Analysis: Perform detailed engineering analysis and simulations to ensure optimal performance, durability, and efficiency of driveline and transaxle hybrid systems.
• Prototyping: Oversee the creation of prototypes and conduct testing to validate design concepts and performance criteria.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain to ensure seamless integration of driveline and transaxle components into vehicle systems.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues related to driveline and transaxle hybrid systems, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.
• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation in driveline and transaxle hybrid system design and development.
