Senior Mechanical Engineer

Alaant Workforce Solutions is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for our client, a growing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (M/E/P) consulting engineering firm in Albany, NY. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to a wide range of building renovation and new construction projects across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design of HVAC and plumbing systems for various facilities
- Prepare mechanical and plumbing specifications
- Perform CAD drafting and provide drafting direction
- Create and manage Revit models
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering staff
- Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies
- Lead project management efforts and mentor junior team members
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience, with HVAC and plumbing systems design
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Strong project management
- Prior supervisory experience leading junior engineers
