Role Overview
As a Senior Facilities Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the modernization and maintenance of an aging facility, ensuring mechanical and plumbing systems meet evolving operational needs. You will be responsible for upgrading critical systems, working closely with construction teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to optimize performance and reliability. Your expertise in cleanroom environments, manufacturing, and medtech facilities will be essential in maintaining high standards for compliance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee facility upgrades, focusing on mechanical and plumbing systems to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Develop and implement strategic plans for system improvements, ensuring long-term sustainability.
Work closely with construction teams to ensure smooth execution of facility renovations.
Monitor and maintain cleanroom environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize facility performance.
Manage external contractors and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
Create lifecycle renewal programs, balancing cost optimization with business continuity.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in manufacturing and medtech environments.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
10+ years of experience in facilities engineering, construction, or system upgrades.
Strong background in cleanroom environments, manufacturing, or medtech industries
Expertise in mechanical and plumbing systems and their impact on facility operations.
Experience overseeing facility modernization projects in aging infrastructures.
Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is a plus.
