A exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineers to join a world leading manufacturer of Machine Interfaces. In this role you will support the growth, processes and solutions to the blue chip companies. In return you will have a salary of 45,000- 50,000, Pension scheme, Regular Monday to Friday hours and career progression.
The responsibilities for the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer are:
- Produce 3D designs using SolidWorks
- Create detailed drawings to BS 888 standards
- Aid production engineering and production teams on ways to improve and resolve issues.
- Provide support to the junior engineers
- Preform fault analysis and technical investigations.
- Prepare product specifications, technical and test reports to professional standards.
The requirements for the Senior Mechanical Design Engineers are:
- Bachelors' or Masters Degree qualified
- Experienced working on multiple projects and confident in Project Management.
- Proficient user of SolidWorks and Microsoft Office tools
- Solid understanding and experience regarding commonly used manufacturing processes including plastic injection-moulding and CNC milling is essential.
- MRP experience is advantageable
