Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Contract Outside IR35 £neg 6 months
Fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join an award-winning design consultancy with a successful track record for providing MEP engineering on a contract basis for 6 months.
Due to an increasing workload, we are actively seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their design team working on commercial fit out projects.
The role
- Assisting in developing detailed designs in line with the client brief
- Conducting mechanical design services calculations
- Assisting in the production of mechanical services specifications and schedules
- Conducting feasibility studies
- Providing technical support and advice
- Provide statements and/or reports when needed
Essential Requirements
- Dynamic individuals with a strong HVAC background
- First-rate communication skills
- Knowledge of existing standards and ability to develop requirements for new building service projects
- Previous experience working on commercial fit out projects
- Experience doing site surveys, heat calculations, steam and ventilation systems design
- Working knowledge of technical software including Hevacomp
- Excellent time management skills
- Drive and determination
- Good supervisory qualities and experience
- Highly motivated with the drive to take on new challenges
