Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Maximo Developer to join our remote team and contribute to the design, customization, and migration of IBM Maximo solutions, particularly cloud-based upgrades. This role requires deep domain and technical knowledge of Maximo Asset Management, strong English communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
- ️ Design, develop, and customize IBM Maximo applications to meet business needs.
- ️ Lead or support Maximo cloud migration projects (e.g., upgrade to IBM Maximo Application Suite - MAS).
- Build and configure Workflows, Domains, Security Groups, Escalations, and Cron Tasks.
- Develop Automation Scripts (Jython/JavaScript).
- Integrate external systems via MIF using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Build/modify BIRT and Cognos reports.
- ️ Perform tuning and scripting using SQL, PL/SQL.
- Coordinate closely with onsite and offshore teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years Maximo development experience.
- ️ Strong experience in Maximo upgrades and cloud migrations (IBM MAS).
- Proficient in:
- Java/J2EE, MBOs
- Jython/JavaScript Automation Scripts
- MIF (REST/SOAP)
- SQL, PL/SQL
- BIRT Reporting
- ️ Hands-on with Application Designer, DB Configuration, Conditional Expressions.
- Familiar with Maximo Inventory, Work, Assets, PMs, and Purchasing.
- WebSphere/WebLogic/Liberty experience.
- ️ Excellent English communication.
- Team player with coordination skills.

- Experience with IBM MAS Admin & OpenShift/Kubernetes
- Industry modules (Utilities, Oil & Gas, Transport)
