About the Role In this role, you will leverage your expertise in MarkLogic development to support mission-critical systems within an Agile DevOps framework. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications that utilize MarkLogic databases, employing XQuery for business logic. Your contributions will span the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring successful project deliverables from inception to deployment.
Key Responsibilities - Design and implement solutions that seamlessly integrate MarkLogic with existing enterprise systems.
- Develop XQuery, JavaScript, and REST modules utilizing the MarkLogic technology stack.
- Create Entity models and contribute to software development initiatives using technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java, Angular, Python, SpringBoot, and Hibernate.
- Establish and execute software validation and testing methodologies using Junit and Katalon.
- Drive the integration of custom software solutions utilizing automated deployment technologies while adhering to Agile methodologies.
- Conduct analysis through performance testing to identify and fulfill infrastructure requirements meeting mission objectives.
Basic Qualifications - A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in application development using the MarkLogic framework.
- Strong analytical and design capabilities with proficiency in converting business requirements into effective technical designs.
- Experience in developing service-oriented architecture applications.
- A solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns.
- Extensive experience with the MarkLogic java-client-api in enterprise system applications.
- Proficient in XQuery, FLWOR queries, JavaScript, SPARQL, RDF data, XML processing, and various data storage models.
- Strong background in Java and data processing, especially with NoSQL databases like MarkLogic.
- A Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, with consideration given to work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph for consideration.
Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with developing or deploying applications in AWS.
