Primary Purpose

The position is responsible for promoting the District's unique educational offerings and engage prospective families and employees through targeted and strategic communication and community outreach. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.
Qualifications

Education/Certification/Licensure

Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, public relations, journalism or related field preferred.
Special Knowledge/Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in social media and web content management.

Computer proficiency at an advanced level in Canva, Adobe products, Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web application software.

Excellent judgment and decision-making skills, capacity to recognize when immediate action is required and when additional information is needed

Ability to work independently, manage multiple and competing deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and creatively solve problems and resolve conflicts
Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in working in a marketing and/or advertising agency.

Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and /or display advertising campaigns.
Major Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Develop promotional materials, newsletters, and digital content to increase student enrollment and recruit qualified employees through advanced marketing and media strategies.
  2. Create and execute advertising campaigns and business agreements for CCISD stadiums, school buses, and online.
  3. Conduct market research to understand school enrollment trends and make recommendations to the Chief Communications and Strategic Initiatives Officer.
  4. Plan and coordinate staff and community engagement events, such as workshops, forums, recognitions, and outreach activities that draw interest from employees and families.
  5. Conceptualize and implement communication strategies to best promote the district, its campuses, and students utilizing all available media.
  6. Research, write, edit, proofread, and produce internal and external communication materials, including press releases, feature stories, e-newsletters, brochures, reports, video scripts, web site content, letters, social media content, and special publications for distribution that align with District and departmental goals.
  7. Support general and crisis communications as needed. Deploy initiatives that contribute to the successful fulfillment of communications plans.

  15. Utilize time wisely for effective management of job responsibilities.
  16. Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.
  17. Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.
  18. Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.
  19. Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.
  20. Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).
  21. Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.
