As the Senior Marketing Manager at D&F Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling, you will own our marketing strategy and execution. This role is for someone who can set the direction, manage budgets, and oversee vendors - but also isn't afraid to dive into day-to-day tasks like writing copy, creating graphics, and setting up ad campaigns.
Your main goal is to drive lead generation, strengthen our brand identity, enhance customer engagement and retention, and maximize ROI. You'll take over day-to-day marketing decisions, bringing at least one-third of our marketing in-house to fuel growth and generate leads.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Nextdoor Ads, Local SEO) to drive lead generation and maximize ROI.
- Oversee website SEO and content strategy to improve local search rankings, working with vendors and guiding web development to stay current with digital trends.
- Track and analyze marketing performance using ServiceTitan and Dialpad, optimizing campaigns based on data-driven insights.
- Report marketing performance to leadership, including cost per lead, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Lead cross-departmental marketing initiatives and collaborate on strategic decisions, budget allocation, and resource management.
- Maintain and enhance brand identity across all touchpoints, ensuring consistent messaging and visuals.
- Manage online reputation (Google My Business, Yelp, BBB, Angi's) with proactive review generation and response strategies.
- Lead social media strategy and oversee vendor execution for organic and paid campaigns.
- Plan and manage email and SMS marketing campaigns, including customer onboarding, promotions, and engagement.
- Create and repurpose content for blog posts, newsletters, and social media to position the company as an industry leader and improve SEO.
- Coordinate traditional marketing efforts (direct mail, flyers, billboards, radio) and integrate them with digital campaigns.
- Develop innovative strategies to attract new customers while retaining existing ones.
- Collaborate with sales and dispatch teams to optimize lead quality and conversion goals.
- Manage third-party vendors and agencies to achieve brand strategy and performance goals.
- Implement and optimize marketing automation tools for lead nurturing and reputation management, ensuring CRM integration.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in home services (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) and in the Portland and Vancouver markets.
- Experience managing budgets, optimizing ad spend, and negotiating with vendors.
- Expertise in Google Ads, Social Media Ads, and email marketing.
- Hands-on content creation skills (writing, graphics, video).
- Understanding of SEO best practices and emerging digital marketing trends.
- Familiarity with WordPress and ability to direct web development.
- Analytical skills to track marketing ROI and make data-driven decisions.
- Dynamic, sales-minded, and adaptable with a strategic approach to driving customer growth and engagement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
