The Senior Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of multi-channel marketing initiatives across our portfolio of consumer lifestyle brands. This role is ideal for a marketing agency veteran or experienced brand leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at managing integrated campaigns, influencer partnerships, social media strategy, content development, and retail/trade marketing. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of consumer behavior, storytelling, and brand positioning to help elevate the Happy Brands voice and drive awareness, engagement, and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media & Content Marketing
- Own the brand's organic social media strategy and execution across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, Threads, LinkedIn).
- Create and manage content calendars and briefs for social campaigns.
- Collaborate with design studio and content creators to develop thumb-stopping multimedia content.
- Lead community management strategy to build authentic engagement.
Influencer & Ambassador Program Management
- Manage the Happy Brands Ambassador Program (Grin platform), overseeing content briefs, partnerships, contracts, and affiliate tracking.
- Identify and onboard new influencers to support launches and storytelling initiatives.
- Analyze performance and ROI of influencer campaigns and optimize strategy accordingly.
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management
- Lead annual and seasonal brand marketing campaigns aligned with company objectives.
- Drive campaign ideation, planning, execution, and post-campaign reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, ecommerce, and retail sales teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution.
- Oversee non-digital and digital executions, including social, paid media, in-store, PR, email, and experiential.
Public Relations & Brand Communications
- Partner with PR agency to develop seasonal messaging strategies and ensure alignment with campaign goals.
- Develop and manage messaging frameworks, press materials, and talking points.
- Organize events, seeding campaigns, and brand moments that amplify awareness.
Retail & Channel Marketing
- Support wholesale and ecommerce partners with marketing toolkits, assets, and promotional campaign strategy.
- Collaborate with sales teams to drive brand presence and sell-through at retail.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor and analyze KPIs across social, influencer, campaign, and ambassador initiatives.
- Present clear performance reports to senior leadership and provide strategic recommendations.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field.
- 6-10 years of progressive marketing experience, ideally in an agency setting or B2C/CPG/lifestyle brand environment.
- Experience managing direct reports, agencies, and cross-functional initiatives.
Skills & Attributes
- Highly creative with strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in marketing tools (e.g., Grin, Sprout Social, Bazaarvoice).
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and copywriting skills.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional project and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external teams.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adjusting strategies based on performance insights.
