Smartish is a 16-year-old independent e-commerce company that designs, manufactures and sells mobile tech accessories. Smartish makes everyday life a little easier with phone cases and stuff just clever enough to solve unexpected needs. Based in downtown Austin, Texas, our team is a jaunty, down-to earth, and highly caffeinated group of folks that, since 2009, have taken our products seriously, but ourselves not so much.


The Senior Marketing Coordinator is a member of our Brand team and owns a variety of customer-facing marketing activities meant to drive brand growth and engagement. This position involves a range of responsibilities, including managing social media, influencer and affiliate campaigns, email & SMS, as well as assisting with website maintenance, public relations and photo & video projects. This is a full-time, in-office position at our Smartish HQ in downtown Austin, TX

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Social Media Management

  • Plan, create and post social media content and initiatives, across a variety of platforms
  • Interact with followers to foster and grow community
  • Execute campaigns to reach channel goals
  • Ideate & execute relevant, engaging on brand content and maintain an active content calendar
  • Monitor and report on KPIs
  • Stay abreast of social media trends, tools and best practices

Influencer & Affiliate Program Coordination

  • Manage and grow influencer and affiliate networks
  • Manage outreach as well as maintain and nurture long-term relationships
  • Scout, onboard, and work with affiliates, influencers and vendors to reach performance results
  • Stay abreast of Creator trends and program best practices
  • Monitor and report on KPIs

Public Relations Support

  • Build and manage media, influencer, and affiliate sample kits
  • Track media conversions
  • Work with Graphic Designer to update sample kit packaging when necessary

Email and SMS

  • Manage overall email/sms program within Klaviyo platform - including list maintenance, campaign & flow creation, a/b testing, website integration and reporting
  • Ideate compelling, relevant on brand campaigns and maintain an active content calendar
  • Work with Graphic Designer to build emails
  • Write and edit copy for all emails and SMS
  • Stay abreast of trends and best practices
  • Monitor and report on KPIs to ensure goals are met

Website Maintenance

  • Support execution of photo and video shoots for on brand asset creation
  • Edit copy for website landing pages, as needed
  • Regularly audit site to ensure optimal functionality
  • Work with IT to trouble shoot and resolve site issues

Data Collecting & Reporting

  • Create and update reports to track KPIs across all active Marketing channels
  • Keep all reports updated weekly/monthly
  • Provide feedback, insights and recommendations based on results


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS (About You):

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 3-5 years Marketing experience
  • 1-2 years Social Media management experience
  • Experience working in DTC/ecommerce, with a preference for consumer goods
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content tailored to different platforms and target audiences
  • Excellent project and program management skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, plan and manage projects to completion with minimal supervision
  • Eye for detail with an inquisitive nature
  • Hustler with a keen sense of urgency (ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment)
  • Impeccable follow through & independently motivated
  • Quick learner with the ability to pivot quickly
  • Ability to work in office 5 days per week
