Sr. Marketing Campaign Analyst to join their team in
Chicago. This is a
hybrid role with

As the
Sr. Marketing Campaign Analyst, you'll be instrumental in developing and executing data-driven marketing strategies to support member acquisition, retention, and engagement. You'll collaborate across teams to translate business objectives into targeted, multi-channel campaigns-leveraging segmentation tactics, automation tools, and campaign performance analysis to drive measurable impact.

What you will do: Campaign Management - Utilize campaign management tools and marketing automation platforms to build, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing plans.
- Collaborate with the Membership and Marketing teams to design data-driven plans that leverage customer insights to achieve business goals.
- Develop and implement efficient campaign workflows, including data segmentation, targeting plans, and campaign frequency management.
- Develop experimental test designs to optimize campaign performance, including A/B testing, segmentation strategies, and messaging variations.
- Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across various platforms (e.g., email, direct mail, digital ads, SMS) to drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Leverage direct and database marketing best practices to define success and help guide creative work.
- Create vendor data specifications and manage relationships with external partners, ensuring data accuracy and quality in campaign execution.
Data Management - Manage the entire campaign data lifecycle, from data extraction to post-campaign analysis, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all channels.
- Implement and maintain data quality standards, resolving data discrepancies, deduplicating records, and standardizing data outputs.
- Maintain and manage suppression lists and other data governance processes to ensure compliance with internal data policies and data protection regulations.
- Stay informed on new data sources and industry best practices, recommending how emerging data can be utilized in future campaigns.
- Monitor campaign data for anomalies and escalate issues as necessary.
- Implement automation and scripting to streamline processes, ensuring efficiency in data handling and campaign execution.
Data Reporting & Analysis - Manage the completion and accuracy of list management activities, data requests, marketing campaign support, defining campaign metrics, and conducting member analysis profiles, ensuring data quality and integrity standards on all projects.
- Fulfill data requests from various teams across the organization, ensuring accurate, timely, and relevant data delivery.
- Retrieve and organize data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity when fulfilling internal and external requests.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to provide actionable insights that support decision-making across various functions, including marketing, sales, and customer service.
- Deliver data-driven insights and reports to support other teams' projects and initiatives.
- Standardize and document data processes to ensure consistency and repeatability in data extraction and analysis tasks.
May include other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or related quantitative field required. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years marketing experience with 2 years in campaign management with a thorough understanding of direct marketing techniques, subscription/membership marketing, database issues regarding data quality, data manipulation and targeting strategies.
- Minimum 3+ years practical data extraction, manipulation and analysis experience required, using SQL and related applications: SAS, or SPSS directly against a marketing data warehouse. Working knowledge of relational database technology, data warehouses, and basic statistics practices required.
- Experience with campaign management tools required (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Marketo, Unica, IBM Campaign).
- Advanced practical use of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Visio. Use of Business Objects (or similar) a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience manipulating large data sets and recommending segmentation, testing, multi-channel targeting and campaign plans.
- Capable of exploring outside the box, proactively developing meaningful alternatives and translating them into actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, manage, and complete multiple projects.
- Must be detail oriented with high sense of accountability and integrity and very sensitive to deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, especially the ability to express analytic results and technical concepts in user friendly ways to ensure they inform strategic decision making.
