Job Description

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with a strong focus on process setup.

Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ProE); TeamCenter/NX is a plus.

Experience with ERP systems, simulation software, and advanced quality tools (SPC, Pareto analysis).

Expertise in lean methodologies, facilities/layout design, and equipment installation.

Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing projects, budgets, and engineering teams.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with systems integration and automation.

Adaptability to support diverse tasks in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

We're seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on process setup experience, including equipment/tooling installation, layout optimization, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Engineering, proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD), and experience with ERP systems and simulation tools. This is an on-site role in San Antonio, TX, requiring overtime flexibility. Responsibilities include leading manufacturing projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring safety/quality standards compliance. Strong candidates will demonstrate a proven track record in improving production processes and managing engineering timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute manufacturing plans to support engineering projects

Lead new process setup, including equipment/tooling design, procurement, and validation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize facility layout, workflow, and automation integration

Manage purchase orders for tooling/equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards

Conduct cycle time analysis, lean manufacturing (Six Sigma, JIT), and PFMEA

Prepare technical documentation, project timelines, and executive reports

Ensure adherence to safety standards (OSHA, ISO) and industry regulations
